IP 8 ch relay modual
« on: March 10, 2018, 01:13:36 pm »
I want to use a 8ch relay board to control my cam power so I can reboot any cams remotely.

There are several flavors of IP controlled relay boards floating around. Has anyone used these relays? How can I see them in Veraplus so I can use PLEG  to control them?

There must be a way to use this approach with Vera so I can also use Imperihome to see these relay switches.

You can use a Z-UNO to achieve native Z-Wave control using the 8 channel board.
Living in the Land of Oz, give me a vegemite sandwich. Home Seer, Vera Lite & Edge, Popp, Black Cat Smart Hub & Vera G, Black Cat Lite 1 & 2's a Black Cat Dimmer or 2, Fantem Tec and then some  Black Cat Cat's Eye PIR's & Door-Window Sensors, RFXComm, Broadlink RMPro & Mini plus a Z-UNO or 2.

What I m looking for is something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/KMTronic-LAN-Ethernet-IP-8-channels-Relay-board-WEB-BOX-/281238587151

Then use a Vera plugin to add it as a device (s) . I don't want to build a z-wave solution to do it. (expensive and time consuming)

Why can't vera just see it as an ip device and control it as a multiswitch?
