1.1.1245 beta available for general testing
« on: April 20, 2011, 01:36:44 pm »
There are 58 users currently on the new beta, mostly our private beta tester group.  It has passed our internal tests.  We have 1 report of a user having problem, but there's no indication yet that his issue is related to the firmware.  So we're making it available to the general community.

If there are no confirmed regressions we'll make it an official upgrade from 1.1.1047 soon.

To try out the beta, visit http://micasaverde.com/vera2?beta=1 from a computer on the same network as Vera, and it will upgrade it.

If you have any regressions, please post them to this thread.

Changed from 1.1.1234 with no problems. Notice that my Log tabs on my Kiwkset locks are blank they were blank for 1234 also, was hoping that it would be fixed.

My Schlage locks sometimes wouldn't show logs as well then they would just show up and go away as they please.

It's by design.  The Logs tab on UI4 only had a few recent entries, whereas the real, permanent list is in your cp.mios.com account.  There were complaints that having this in 2 places was too confusing.  See the http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/Release_Notes, #99.

I have some issues where events are not showing up on CP.Mios.com. I realize they are no longer in the tabs, but why do some events such as Schlage door lock open/closing doesn't show on one of my locks, yet it shows on the other?

How do we debug why one lock works and others don't?

Thanxs for update @micasaverde, kind of missed that one ::), However after reviewing CP. MiOS.com events I do not see any lock/unlock events which by the way happens several times a day (if per chance I'm reviewing My miOS screen and a lock/unlock event occurs I do see that event message text under the specific lock device and it does indicate correctly e.g. Person Unlocked.

Also within the CP.MiOS.com event calendar on days that are bold I get the following message "Not Found The requested URL /luup-events.php was not found on this server." when selected. More clues please!

Same here the Events have never worked for me and I get the Not Found page when clicking on the event just like you but I have not tried it with the newest firmware yet so we'll see.

I am also having issues switching to 3.20
I performed the firmware upgrade to 1.1.1245 locally through the link that was provided, then went into settings and switched to 3.20, saved, waited 3 minutes and checked back...
tried switching back and forth without result..

btw. thanks for the update, it looks like you guys fixed a lot of things and made some nice changes!
