Scene Controller
« on: May 30, 2011, 07:16:18 pm »
I cannot seem to get the Intermatic CA5000 scene controller to work with the Vera 2. I guess it's not compatible based on a couple of messages I've found here. Does anyone know of a Hardware Compatibility Guide for the Vera 2?

I'm looking to add a scene controller that has about 6 scenes. Anyone know of one out there?

Ok, since nobody replied I will help out.
The CA5000 is not Zwave compatible and will not work with the Vera.
The CA5100 does seem to be compatible, I'm working with them now.

This is pretty up to date, but may still have some holes:

GE isn't even on there and many of us are full to the brim with GE gear, and basically it works. Also Kwikset isn't mentioned under locks.

How does one edit the wiki? Why aren't more community members doing so?
My forum account was apparently hacked by a leprechaun. And he's drunk all of the time. If a post of mine seems a little off kilter, it's probably because he made it.

Well i could use some help doing the How To's. ive started quite a few of the already and a lot need updating.
I have created a fixed format for how to's together with @guessed.

You could ask him where he thinks you could contribute best.

To get acces to the wiki contact @mcvflorin, he should be able to verify your account.
