PowerPeopleco iPhone App Release
« on: June 30, 2011, 08:01:54 am »
FYI,  PowerPeopleco released their new iPhone Energy monitoring app that works with the TED5000 and other engergy monitors.  So far I like the interface, however, most of the tracking is only done in $ which is stupid IMHO.  You can see current kWh usage, but history etc. only in dollars.  I am writing the developers to see if they can just let us touch the trends to see in KWh.  It would also be nice if it remembered you last selection so it would default into kWh if you had it that was last.  Anyway another choice with some interesting budgeting features and a much better graphic design than TED - O - Meter.  I wish Energy Inc would just port the dashboard over to a faster working native iPhone App as it works great, but is a bit clunky speed wise.

FYI, if you hit the i icon on the screen you will find the settings tab where you can set the units to kWh which really helps. It would be nice to simply toggle back and fourth.
