Looks interesting!
I have sent them a question if it will work with Vera, let's see what they say!

It works partially with Vera - one major missing functionality is support for the historical_get in the meter tabel command class - this means you can only get a reading when the device wakes up instead of using the 3 months/15 minutes on-device buffer for getting data even when vera have been offline or haven't been able to communicate with the NorthQ Power Reader.
I don't remember if Vera sets the time using the time parameters command class but that is also a requirement for the meter table historical stuff to work.

So is there any webshops in EU that carries this product. And is it possible to just buy the device without the usb dongle ?

I got an answer from them, saying that it is on its way out onto the market, first of all it'll arrive to the benelux countries under the name "Eminent - Energy Reader", and that it later on (before Christmas) may be available from komplett.no (I guess also komplett.se etc)

Let's hope MCV will add the missing functionality soon!

Hi,

Just put the vera in inclusion mode en press a button on the power reader 3 times to include it.

Then change variables... I am still messing with the pulse factor..... My meter gives 10.000 pulses per kWh, so what does the value need to be : How many pulses*10 per kWh?? At the moment it is incorrect because I am using a lot of kWh :-)

Can anybody confirm that this is 100% working with the Vera? Incl. the 15min read out functionality?

And if not, what device is out there that is able to measure pulses in combination with z-wave?

Vera does not support all functionality of the device but you should be able to get 15 minutes measurements from the device. (Keep wakeup  interval at 15 minutes)..

It doesn't help looking for other Z-Wave devices because they will have the exact same problems since it's missing functionality in Vera and not a problem with the device.

If your meter flashes 10.000 pulses / kWh then you need to set pulse factor configuration to 10.000*10 = 100000

hi

Im trying to get this to work on a mechanical meter. But i can only get a Kwh reading, not watt. On my meter is written 120 rotations pr kwh / 4 pulses rotation. what does that mean?
