there's this 'Real time mode' which can be selected, which gives reports every few seconds (I'm at work right now, and don't have the manual), this will consume batteries, so if one wants to use this often/always, a power supply is probably needed. Haven't done this myself yet, been busy.

I finally got this device configured and working nicely with Vera.
