Z-Wave controller for dog
« on: December 15, 2011, 08:32:48 am »
Couldn't see a forum for Canine control, so posting here.

Does anyone know if there's a Z-wave module to control my dog? I'm thinking of (Bark) Volume 0-100, Agression towards strangers (on/off) - that kind of thing.
She's a Bouvier, if it makes any difference.

Thanks for any suggestions

Awesome idea! I never thought of it but one for my kid could could have that volume control, complaining on/off, and a "do homework" plugin, I like it!  I'll leave my girlfriend out of it as the forum is public    :P

I'm sure there will be some fun around the inclusion process for "setting special association"...

Never thought of Z-Wave for the dog, but Ive always been interested in a Z-Wave module on a mouse trap.  My old house has critters in the crawlspace sometimes and I have mousetraps set, but it's not on my daily list to go check them and remove those dead mice.   If we could just attach a Z-Wave module so it alerts when the trap is triggered, I can be alerted via a txt message or some other option.

[...] Z-Wave module on a mouse trap. [...]
Squirrel trap. (And it works.)
Dezwaved at the moment...
