12AM as a number
« on: January 08, 2012, 10:05:21 am »
When reading in "local now = os.date ("*t")".  Then using "now.hour" to pull out the hour, what value is 12am given (00 or 24)?

Thanks,
Bpavs

I had a similar question when I had timers set to run every Monday - Thursday at 00:00 hrs.

The problem was, week after week the Monday timer would never run, turns out that Vera saw 00:00 hrs as the next day, so I would have to set a timer on Sunday at 00:00 hrs to have Monday run at Midnight. Since I already had a timer set for Sunday at 02:00 hrs, this wasn't possible when using the standard timer feature.

I ended up setting the M -F timers to run at 11:59 p.m. as a work around  :-\

Anyway, 12 am (Midnight) is 00 hrs.

I'm sorry, my responses are limited. You must ask the right questions.
