It runs on it (as expected); that being said, fast app switching isn't supported yet (also as expected).  Hoping the next incremental release of it will add some of the new feature support for iOS4.

I am sure it is a priority for Square Connect, but they are very busy and dedicated to current developments.

iPad doesn't have iOS4 yet, so they have some time in my opinion to enable support.

Things on their list include:

"the puck" Wi-Fi to IR system hinted to on their website
SQ Remote version  updates
iPad optimized version
iOS4 support

There is no order intended here or promises, just my observation based on their forum communication. They are poised to deliver as always, FYI.

It works on my 3rd Gen iPod Touch with iOS4

The app works perfectly on iOS4, but doesn't support multitasking.

Also, the graphics aren't updated for the iPhone 4's higher resolution screen.  Looks more than acceptable to me though. 

Very solid app IMHO.

SQRemote 2.0 now takes advantage of the multitasking. And a few other "below the surface" features.
