Title: Does the plugin expose some actions to send message from other plugins?
Post by: CelticWebs on October 19, 2016, 01:42:31 pm
I use the fantastic, simple Rules Engine with my Vera plug and I wanted it to be able to send notifications when certain certain rules are met.

I also use your plugin so it wood be great if I could get Rules engine to send a notification for me via Vera Alerts.  I'm told it would be possible if Vera Alerts exposed any actions atet Rules engine could take advantage of.  Is this possible in any way please?

Looking forward to your reply.

Regards
Huw

I'll look at using that action then, thank you.

Vosmont, the developer of Rules engine took a look for me and replied with the following

I've installed VeraAlert (on a Vera, not openLuup) : the problem is that the file "D_VeraAlert.xml" is encrypted.
So ALTUI / RulesEngine can not get the actions of this plugin.

For the moment there's no solution  :(
The developper has to propose a new version of VeraAlert without encryption on D_VeraAlert.xml
Is there anyway around this that you can offer a suggestion for please?
