To add multiple USB connected devices to a Vera edge I assume I will need a USB hub? What USB hub device do you use? Does it have to be mains power supplied or USB power supplied is also ok? Generic brand hub is ok?

THe Hub's I purchased in the past have all come with Power Supplies, If "whatever" has a radio then I'd suggest you use the PS.

What protocol should be used for Dooya blind control? Perhaps there is a list somewhere but I have failed to find it:-/

I have the Dooya working as a yadoo device but I am not sure what protocol to disable in the rfx controller then settings tab (I currently have all protocols enabled in settings tab of rfx controller which I read is not recommended).?

FWIW, I enabled all of the protocols as I had no idea that it wasn't recommended.

I'm not controlling any blinds but I would expect the Blinds protocol to be the one to enable. Some protocols conflict when receiving signals. But since the RFXtrx doesn't receive signals from the blind controls it probably doesn't matter. It only transmits blind commands.

Not sure if this helps anyone but I have a scene that deploys the blind and added a delayed action of 20seconds that then turns a virtual switch on. I have also created another scene linked to the virtual switch turning on that runs the following luup:
luup.call_action ("urn:upnp-org:serviceId:WindowCovering1","Stop",{},67)
Which stops the blind about halfway through deployment (67 = device id for the blind )
Just by modifying the delay length I can set a position for the blind (If I don?t want it to be fully deployed)
