Post by: achalhoub on June 24, 2011, 05:59:29 am
Does anyone have the link for the beta version 1.1.1298?

I really want to get my 4 in 1 aeon labs sensors running.

Thanks.

The beta version 1.1.1298 has been in testing the last few days, and won't be made public unless it's approved by both in-house testers and the beta testers on the forum.

I tested the 1.1.1298 and my aeon 4-1 is working perfectly with temperature, humidity, lughting and motion sensor.

Great work!!

Nice!

BTW, for folks in the U.S., I was told it will be at least September (http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php?topic=3831.msg44454#msg44454) for the Multisensor to be available.

So are we saying that Beta version 1298 will be available in September or sometime sooner?

MCV I've criticized in the past that you should be communicating to the user community as to current releases (beta included) and planned released dates with expected features/corrections. We all know that features/corrections will be subject to current development problems but at least everyone (users) are aware of what's going on or not!!! You were doing great earlier this year, however I've seen less or non-existent communications. Take for example the 1st two Topic subjects:

They seem to be void of any communications relating to new releases or what your working on and status reports. I'll get off my soapbox now :-X

Nope. Not saying anything about Vera firmware release schedule. I meant the actual availability of the physical device (the Aeon Labs Multi Sensor) in the U.S.; Aeon Labs indicated it will be at least September.

@Michael_N_Blackwell

You can find the release notes for 1.1.1298 here:
http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/Release_Notes#1.1.1298_-_June_21.2C_2011_-_beta

And I said what is the status of the current beta in my earlier post:

@mcvflorin, thank you for the comeback.. the link answers my concern. Is it possible to add it to the official announcement folder. One observation is that links seem to be spread amongst the various posts and makes it hard to keep track. However placing it at the top of the folder (more intuitive) gets people to the right place quickly..... kind of what some of the users have been doing of late to make WIKI and other pages more useable/focused. When it would be publicly announced, that post will contain the change log, or a link to it.

I lost control of my GC100 months ago.  All along MCV tech support insisted that there was nothing wrong and that they had a GC100 in their lab and it was working just fine. What's interesting is that the release notes for b.v. 1.1.1298 clearly states "Fixed support for GC100".  I've had all kinds of problems with the z-wave network since the upgrade to .1298 which again did not exhibit any issues according to MCV which again has been addressed by 1.1.1298.  Some would call that a pattern but what do I know.
