Title: Dimmer is different type in UI7
Post by: Greybeardvacationrental on June 12, 2018, 10:15:56 am
A minor thing.  Anyone have any ideas on why this one switch, out of many, feels the need to be different?  It's a GE/Jasco dimmer switch like the rest of them.  I did check the params and the type is the same as the rest.

Thanks

Compare the advanced properties on them.  I'll bet the "Sub Category" on that switch is different than the rest.

Dimmable devices are Category 2 which has sub-categories.  Change the sub-category to match the others if you want them all listed togther.

Thanks!  Yes the subcategory was a 2 and the others were a 0.
