Not using the "Secure My Vera" Reverse Proxy?

One's internal network may not be as private as one might think.

I use the Google Wifi mesh and found out that it blocks all local DNS responses so it appears to be immune to this.  And of course this has made some users furious because they depend on local subnet look ups.  I'm curious to know if this is completely effective at blocking it and if other routers do something similar.
