Thanks all

Some quick questions

How do I stop/start openLuup, when I can?t access the UI?
@rafale77 My userdata.lua file only has 617 lines?
I found the trouble spot. in the userdata.lua file, in the device_table function:

edit the line:

Code: [Select]
        value = item.value or {},
I will submit to akbooer on github

1) stop openLuup
2) edit user_data.json and update the value below (save a copy before editing):
Code: [Select]
      "id":7,
      "service":"urn:upnp-org:serviceId:altui1",
      "value":"{}",
      "variable":"PluginConfig"
3) start up openLuup

Hi

Just installed openLuup on Debian 9, and I get the same error mentioned earlier when I access it via 192.168.1.122:3480/data_request?id=lr_ALTUI_Handler&command=home%23

Code: [Select]
error in callback [lr_ALTUI_Handler] : [string "L_ALTUI.lua"]:2306: attempt to index local 'tbl' (a nil value
Please can someone confirm exactly what file in /cmd_ludl/ I need to edit (to add {} etc.) as I can see that is not present via 192.168.1.122:3480/data_request?id=status&output_format=xml&DeviceNum=3

Code: [Select]
    },{
      "id":7,
      "service":"urn:upnp-org:serviceId:altui1",
      "value":"",
      "variable":"PluginConfig"
    },{

Alternate UI to UI7 / Re: Click on camera in Panels opens URL

Possible. Which panel ? (Please  show me a screen shot so I am sure what you are referring to )

Here's my custom camera panel page.  If I click on a particular camera, it would be nice to have an action. Possibilities are (from simple to hard)
1: just open the IP address of the camera
2: open a specific URL in a variable
3: open an application with parameters (i.e. launch VLC)

Possible to open a URL if one were to click on a camera image in a panel? Ideally, I would be able to open the camera GUI from the panel. Clearly, this would only work if one were on the local LAN.

I'm having the same issue.  Only I had two cameras on my Vera 3.  This last update caused me to start from scratch and now I can't get the cameras to work again.  The threads I had saved don't seem to be doing the job.

General / Re: Vera Edge not Displaying Dashboard or Controlling Devices

Glad you got it figured out and recovered. Didn't think of the missing json files in /etc/cmh-ludl folder which would cause the devices to exist and execute but not show up in the UI. I am however quite puzzled by how they would have gotten wiped out. And yes I also assumed that your new router had the same ip address on the network which may not be the case, in which case your DNS server address might have changed leading the vera to not be able to reach any ip outside the network.

Configuring WAMP to accept all connections did the trick. Thanks again for your help!
