I am running EventWatcher and DataMine2.  I just noticed today that I am getting lots of errors like this and am wondering how I can troubleshoot this....

Had a similar problem. Log showed about 500 of these sort of errors as described above - at two lines per error that's a thousand lines or so. Each error refers to a file along the lines of:

Code: [Select]
/etc/cmh/persist/a_1479519881_1479519889_a9e010
Used SSH to have a look at the contents. It showed that my ping plugin was trying to send an alert. Problem is I had removed the plugin a few weeks back. I had a look at this web page:

Code: [Select]
http://<Vera_IP_address>/port_3480/data_request?id=lu_status&output_format=xml
Under the tag 'Alerts' I found ten lines like so - noting they refer to 'Ping' and that Plugin had been previously deleted from my system:

Code: [Select]
<alert PK_Alert="0" LocalDate="2016-11-25 09:13:36" EventType="4" SourceType="4" Argument="0" Filesize="0" Severity="1" LocalTimestamp="1480025616" Code="DL_ARMEDTRIPPED" NewValue="0" Description="Ping mobile" Users="" Server_Storage="" Key="" Icon="" PK_Store="0"/>
So what to do:
1) backed up all the stuff to be deleted as described below:
2) deleted the alerts file - this file may contain valid alerts. I'm unsure if the file should just be edited to remove the offending lines or completely deleted in the hope it will be recreated as needs be. You have made your back up - right?
Code: [Select]
/etc/cmh/alerts.json3) deleted all the files in this directory - in my case over five hundred of them
Code: [Select]
/etc/cmh/persist/4) restarted the Luup engine

All seems OK now - this worked for me but your case(s) may be different. Make sure to back up all before hand.

On UI7 (1.7.919), Vera3 getting these, thousands of times, in the log files then Vera hangs and requires a power cycle. Submitting a ticket and enabling remote access for MCV to take a peek.

Ongoing issues with this. Heard back from Support, who had commentary on my Vera's wifi connectivity which I don't find to be a relevant response.

My log files continued to fill with error messages related to RAServerSync and FileUtils, and I was getting repeated phantom Door lock notifications (no one was opening the door) and Vera rebooting excessively.

For sanity, turned off door lock notifications.
Uninstalled WWN plugin (saw near constant polling from this, and I have 9 Nest thermos)
Uninstalled Sonos plugin.

Not seeing the RASync messages at the same massive volumes right now, but I *AM* seeing Vera trying to connect to my Sonos system as well as my STB/Cable box. What gives? Sonos plugin uninstalled!! Argh.

Ongoing issue. Log files filling up regularly, Vera becomes unresponsive. Log process taking up large % of cpu.

RASync error messages as well as constant 401 Unauthorized from one or several cams (which all connect fine). My error logs have gone from 200-300K to 9MBs...
02      03/19/17 13:02:38.497   write_data_header failed with 0/401 0x48 0x54 0x54 0x50 0x2f 0x31 0x2e 0x31 0x20 0x34 0x30 0x31 0x20 0x55 0x6e 0x61 0x75 0x74 0x68 0x6f 0x72 0x69 0x7a 0x65 0x64 0xd 0xa (HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized\r\n) <0x2efd1680>

Tickets submitted. Any input welcome. UI7 latest, Vera 3.
