KKMoon SD13W 720p Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera
« on: September 03, 2016, 03:16:02 am »
I made an implementation file for KKMoon SD13W 720p Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera.
Seems to follow Foscam 9821W HTTP API with minor differences.

I did take the liberty of not implementing all 8 presets as I do not need that many and this camera starts it preset index from 0, where as Vera starts it from 1 and conversion would be needed in the LUA code. In practice this means preset index 0 (1 in the Camera web UI) is currently unused by Vera.

This camera cannot send a motion detection trigger to Vera, but it is still possible to enable and disable motion detection from Vera with LUUP code :

-- Enable MotionDetect in scene LUUP code
         -- luup.inet.wget("http://USERID:PASSWORD@CAM_IPADDRESS/web/cgi-bin/hi3510/param.cgi?cmd=setmdattr&-s=75&-name=1&-x=0&-y=0&-w=1280&-h=720&-enable=1",5)
-- Disable MotionDetect in scene LUUP code
         -- luup.inet.wget("http://USERID:PASSWORD@CAM_IPADDRESS/web/cgi-bin/hi3510/param.cgi?cmd=setmdattr&-s=75&-name=1&-x=0&-y=0&-w=1280&-h=720&-enable=0",5)

That enables single area motion detection covering the entire picture (1280x720). The -s=75 is the sensitivity, adjust for your setup if needed.

Snapshot ULR is :

MPEG4 RTSP streams are available on the camera :

First stream, 1280x720  :
Second stream,  640x352 :

Hi just wondering if you had any further developments in conjunction with the KKMOON SD13W and Vera. I used your implementation file, but I am not able to record video? Any insight you have would be great.

I had no success getting the RTSP Stream via Vera.

I tried with the VideoURLs method, but couldn't make it work.

I tested with VideoURLs

I didn't see any errors Vera logs, so I guess there is still something else
